Palm Sunday is the day in the Christian faith that we celebrate the triumphant entry of the King into Jerusalem. At church today all the kids were able to take the palm branches and wave them in the service as a reminder of this event. As I rejoiced and worshiped with the church and watched the children I thought back to what it must have been like to have been there over 2000 years ago to be able to shout “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord”. I rejoice that someday I will be able to worship with those who were there for his first triumphant entry into the city.
