We recently received a package from a friend that included a package of water balloons. The boys have been asking daily if this is the day they get to play with the water balloons. I like water balloons, however, from the Mom standpoint, they are a lot of work to fill for a short time of fun.
The boys wanted to share the water balloons with the children who live in our cul-de-sac (that’s what I call our little neighborhood area, it sounds better than living on a dead end surrounded by other homes).
It doesn’t matter where you are from, water balloons are fun!

Some things are never out dated – like water balloons. It looks like they were having a great time.
What a fun day of play, and a way of sharing a new experience with neighborhood friends who may never have had the opportunity to engage in this form of water play.
Water balloons are fun! Remember how we used to think we needed to put on our swimsuits to play with water balloons?
I do remember that. I also have fond memories of the annual last day of school water fight.
