We are in the process of returning one of our aircraft back to JAARS after many faithful years of service. Which means we will need to take it apart and ship it back in a 40 foot shipping container. The wings will be coming off next week.
What major part is missing from the aircraft in this picture?
How would you like to be the one who gets to put the aircraft back together when it arrives? Warning some assembly required.
It’s missing the tail. Wouldn’t want to fly that – or put it back together again.
I’m thinking putting it back together is going to take extreme patience.
Who flies that plane? Do you, David?
Shirley we have several missionary pilots in Cameroon and several planes. We received a new plane last April https://dsquaredplusjsquared.wordpress.com/2012/04/18/airplane-is-coming/ and so we are returning our older plane. I don’t fly them I just oversee the aviation department. I have gotten to fly in them but not as the pilot.
