Today would have been David’s mom’s birthday. Mary was a soft spoken, patient, music loving, God fearing woman. She lost her battle to cancer 11 days after Joshua (her first grandchild) was born. She made things in advance for Joshua and all her future grandchildren that she never had the pleasure of holding. We miss her greatly and are grateful for the legacy she left and the video tape of reading bedtime stories.
We love you and miss you Mary/Mom/Grandma.
Love, love those pics! We were so blessed to have her in our lives! Miss her lots!
Don’t you still have that lamb at your house?
I do, in Jacobys room 🙂
The stuffed one, not the real one, haha
Mary was a very special woman. Our family thought of her as another daughter. So glad we are all blessed with wonderful memories of our times together.
Always be grateful for the memories – and hang on to them. They are a priceless treasure that can never tarnish or fade away from your heart.
David, how blessed you’ve been to have had your family–parents, grandparents, aunts and your uncle, and your cousins–loving, nurturing and people of faith to surround you while you were growing up. Nice to see the photos of Mary.
Add to earlier post: And Jill.
